Jeff’s Thoughts: Distractions are a Child’s Best Friend-
It was a magnificent Visiting Day. Once again the weather was glorious and everything at Camp Takajo was in full throttle throughout the day. As to be expected, the end of the day created some tears and separation anxiety. For some, it was harder than others. As a parent, it is such a tease to reconnect with your child, only to have to say goodbye. Tonight’s activity is camp movie night, and tomorrow morning the camp prepares for a massive laser tag game. Monday, many big trips depart, and our Senior campers take off to canoe down the St. Croix River, hike in Acadia National Park, and golf some of the best courses in the state.

We have an expression at Camp Takajo, “We don’t run through the finish line, we sprint through the finish line.” With three weeks left of camp, there is so much left to accomplish. We thank you all for visiting. Your sons are happy and back into a routine. On to the next activity…
