Jeff’s Thoughts:
Our first day of Visiting Weekend at Camp Takajo was a huge success. Magnificent weather, an exuberant staff and a pristine facility 
created the backdrop for a perfect, first Visiting Day. At any given moment you could walk into any one of the ten hobbies and see projects being actively created. Or you could peer across our playing fields and tennis courts to witness your boys at play. I often joke that I wish visiting day ended after lunch because the length of the day often creates anxiety for our little ones as they start to look at the clock as it winds down the time with their parents. Nevertheless, the structure of our program and a cool dip in our lake for campers and their parents created a refreshing ending to a picturesque day. Staff uniforms are being laundered, facilities are being groomed, and we can’t wait to do it again tomorrow for another beautiful day!
