One of the reasons the last three weeks of the Camp Takajo season seem to fly by is because our campers are constantly on the move. No matter the age level, there are many fun and exciting events taking place this time in the season. Every day feels new and unique.

Yesterday, we had a massive laser tag event, and today we are hosting a tennis tournament for many of our boys who have not had the opportunity to play in other tournaments throughout the summer. The Warrior Indian campers (finished fourth grade) took off for an afternoon of play followed by dinner at Camp Vega.

Our Junior Grey campers (finished sixth grade) had a social with campers from Camp Vega last night, and are socializing with the ladies from Camp Mataponi this evening. Our Warrior Crow campers (finished first and second grades) had a fun-filled day of activities that ended with movie night at my house, relaxing on the couch, sipping a soft drink, and snacking on some munchies. Our entire Senior Camp is out on a host of amazing “big trips,” and all reports indicate our oldest boys are having the time of their lives out west. The weather may be hot and humid, but things are very cool at Camp Takajo.
