What’s Happening at Camp Takajo: July 4, 2015

The first week of camp is officially in the record books. Today was the perfect day to cap off an amazing week. To watch our boys, navigate around camp, you would think they have been here forever. Today was another magnificent day, blue skies, bright sunshine, and temperatures that climbed into the high seventies. After a full day of activities, our Warrior campers (grades 1-4) had their first group campfire.

At the same time, our Junior and Senior campers enjoyed an evening of play. We often refer to camp as one’s summer home, and nothing beats coming out of dinner and having Camp Takajo as your playground. Bunk challenges were taking place on multiple fields, campers were fishing off the dock, the climbing wall was going strong, hobbies were packed, water skiing and sailing were “open for business” until the sun set over Long Lake.
