It was a grey, misty day, but the rain held off just enough to keep us from moving indoors for too long. We only had to make slight adjustments to our schedule. On days like this, we’re especially grateful for our two sports complexes, hobby buildings, and indoor rec. halls, which allow us to move the boys around, have them burn off energy, and stay active throughout the day.
This evening, we came together at the MJG Playhouse for the Junior Big Show, Frozen. I continue to be amazed by our boys’ ability to stay fully immersed in camp life— whether it’s participating in games, intercamp competitions, or out-of-camp trips, while still finding the time and focus to learn their lines and attend rehearsals for their musical. Beyond the show’s popularity and familiarity, it was the boys’ stage presence, genuine talent, and remarkable vocals that made the night unforgettable.
By the time Reveille blows tomorrow morning, all three age groups will have broken Olympics and competition will be well underway.
