80th Anniversary Reunion FAQ
Who is invited?
- The weekend is open to all former Takajo campers and current campers with their dads.
- Former campers under 18 will need written permission from a parent to attend.
How do I Register for the Weekend?

- You must have a myTakajo.com account in our system based on your email address.
- If your email address is in our system, you may log in and fill out the Adult/Family Application.
- If we have your email and you forgot your password, click “Forgot password?” and follow the prompts.
- If your email is not in our system, click on “Don’t have and account? Sign up,” and you’ll receive an email to set up your account.

What can I expect during the Weekend?
- The weekend begins on Friday, August 14, at 12:00pm, and ends after brunch on Sunday, August 16, at 10:00am.
- Our key staff members will be on hand to organize games and activities.
- Our waterfront – swimming, sailing, waterskiing, canoeing – will be in full swing.
- Our culinary staff will prepare some terrific meals, including a Maine lobster dinner with all the trimmings!
What is the cost of the Weekend?
The cost is $400 per person.
Where will I sleep?
Fathers and their sons will sleep together in the bunks. We will do our best to accommodate all alumni in camp. If we reach capacity, or if you prefer other accommodations, we will let you know when you register and provide a list of nearby inns and hotels. When you register, we will ask for bunkmate requests and will do our best to honor.
What should I bring?
- We will post a packing list in the spring.
- Sheets, blankets, pillows and towels will be provided by the camp.
- If you are looking for some Takajo clothing, you can shop at the alumni store or at thecampspot.com.
What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?
We will be able to accommodate most common dietary needs – gluten free, lactose intolerant, etc. If you have a specific dietary concern, please let us know and we will do our best to assist you.
When do I need to register, and what if I need to cancel?
Registration will open mid-February and remain open until June 1 (unless we reach capacity sooner). If you need to cancel your registration before August 1, you will receive a full refund.
